Hayley Orrantia is an American performer, songwriter and actress. Her most well-known role can be Erica Goldberg who stars in The Goldbergs, a comedy TV show. Her primary focus is as an actor. According her, is the first thing she enjoys. She started playing with it at age nine. As she grew to 12 old, the art of music was taken seriously enough that she began formal training. In 2013, she took on songwriting and produced her debut album. From that point on, there's been no looking back. Orrantia was raised in the USA but holds Hispanic origins. Though she grew up speaking exclusively English and has never lived in Mexico she is very satisfied with her Hispanic heritage. Through studying Spanish and writing songs, she strives to preserve the tradition. She has recorded the Spanish version of the song, titled 'Hasta Verte. Orrantia was selected to audition for the X Factor's inaugural season in the summer of 2011. Orrantia auditioned, and was selected by a panel of YouTube videos and got an average of four "yeses," from judges in Seattle in the live audition stage. Her initial audition was for solo performance, but during the "Hollywood Week" she was placed along with three female vocalists into a trio for the remaining auditions. The group was eliminated from the program during the fifth live week.
