Hayley Orrantia (born in the year 1996) is an American actor, singer, and music producer. A lot of people recognize her from her character as Erica Goldberg on the popular comedy television series "The Goldbergs.' But she is primarily an avid music fan. According to her, music has always been her first passion. At 12 years old, the music she was playing took an adolescent turn and she started training professionally. At 13, she began making music. Her debut album in the age of 14. From that moment on, she has never looked back. Orrantia is a native of America, has Hispanic roots. Despite the fact that she only spoke English as a child and never been to Mexico, Orrantia is extremely happy with her Hispanic heritage. By learning Spanish and writing songs, she is trying to maintain the spirit of her culture. A song she has created is called "Hasta Verte," a song was recorded by her in Spanish. Orrantia was chosen to be an audition for The X Factor's first season during the summer of 2011. Orrantia auditioned, and was selected through YouTube videos and received an average of four "yeses," from judges who were in Seattle at the time of live auditions. While she auditioned initially as a solo artist, at "Hollywood Week", she and three other female singers, were placed into an ensemble for the remainder in the selection process. They were eliminated from the show during the fifth live week.
