Coleman was born and raised in the town of the town of Blackpool in Lancashire. Coleman was head of the class in the Arnold School, Blackpool and was awarded straight A's on her A level. She is disappointed that she did not receive a standard college education in her discussion of her Emmerdale experience. Coleman worked with a group known as In Yer Space at her school. The company performed Crystal Clear in Edinburgh Festival. The show was awarded a prize to her for her performance, while the play was received well. At the National Television Awards, she received the award for best newcomer with the highest popularity. For the British Soap Awards of 2009 she received nominations in the categories of Best Actress and Sexiest female and the Best Dramatic Acting. Coleman received a nomination for Best Actress from the TV Choice Awards. Steven Moffat of Doctor Who made it clear at a press meeting held on the 21st march 2012, that Coleman would replace Karen Gillan after she and Arthur Darvill had left. Moffat chose her for the role because she is the most efficient in her interactions with Smith and was able to speak faster than him. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. Since 1987, she has participated in TV and film projects. However she has had a greater presence on television as opposed to films. Eva's appearances in the TV show Dr. Maria Santos, in All My Children, and the role of Detective Natalia Boa Vista in CSI Miami make an impact. The latter brought her two nominations for a Daytime Emmy. Also, she got to showcase her creativity via music. Eva is also a philanthropist, entrepreneur and philanthropist. Three times married, she has one daughter along with her husband.
