Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise, an American actress and writer best known for portraying Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island during the 1960s. Her acting career began in stage shows during the 1950s beginning with Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. She continued to perform in various Broadway productions until she made it huge in the national theater scene with Li'l Abner's in 1957. In the year 1957, she launched her first album of music named It's time to Tina. Louise's first foray into Hollywood was as Griselda in God's Little Acre, which was a 1958 drama. The film was met with wide praise. Louise won the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the year category. At the time, she joined the Actors Studio in New York and began a relationship with Lee Strasberg as his student. Another notable character she portrayed in the role of Ginger Grant, which CBS hired her with in 1964. Louise had a successful career in Hollywood as well as Broadway as a somber character in order to dispel her image as a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 as well as Helen Magnus, but in recent years, she has earned a reputation as a producer on a variety of popular TV shows like Supernatural. Her birthplace was in Essex on August 28th 1965. Her family relocated to Toronto when she was just three which is where she spent the rest of growing up and in adolescence. Then she settled in Vancouver after she was selected for the role of Samantha Carter.
